My inner voice loves to fuel the self-doubt. It's quick to whisper a negative comment to stifle me from doing something important. But, I've found ways to combat the voices.
One way is I've placed "mini-medals" all around me as a reminder that I can achieve what I set my mind to.
My bathroom mirror has the question, "Why can't it be you?" to remind me that I am just as capable as anyone else.
My office has a framed cover of my 1st Children's Book to remind me of the struggle to get to that 1st book and how I've now been able to publish 3.
My garage has plaquards of CrossFit comps & Races I've completed to remind me that I've done hard, challenging things despite that self-doubt.
Sometimes it's important to remind our inner critic that they've given some positive reviews before. Getting those out in the open is a great way to keep them top of mind.
Do you have any reminders that help battle the inner demons of self-doubt?
just get started,
Brian
