R Factorial
Humans have this weird way of complicating everything.
But most answers are very simple.
It almost seems too good to be true.
A question that surfaces often is, “How can I be happier?”
→ I focus on the 5 R’s
Relationships
Look to build incredible relationships with others along with yourself. It’s about deep commitment and connection. It’s about spending time with those we care about the most.
Reputation
Develop a reputation you are proud of where integrity, honesty, and kindness are the core foundational elements. This will align you with the right people and get you through any difficult moment in life. Your reputation is everything.
Routine
Routines are built on consistency.
Want great relationships? Create a routine to have date nights.
Want to be healthy? Create routines to work out, eat healthy food, and get enough sleep.
Want to build a business? Build a routine that centers around consistently focusing on the important work.
Spontaneity is valuable to give us excitement but routine keeps us on track with the person we want to become.
Regret
Make the decisions you want with the information you have at the time. If you want to do something then do it. Not letting fear or judgment take control eliminates future regret.
Rest
Give yourself time to rest. Rest your mind. Rest your body. Rest the stress and anxiety you are putting on yourself. We are always striving to do more but when do we give ourselves a chance to get more rest? That should be a question we are asking ourselves often.
It’s simple but not easy.
Focus on the stuff you can control and the “happiness” starts to happen organically.
